2024 La Gita Rose
Pale salmon-pink in colour, La Gita rose is dry and delicate. Freshness and fruit purity are expressed in bright red summer fruits, watermelon and a hint of rose petal perfume. The palate is all about energy and refreshment, with natural acidity driving a dry, crunchy finish.
Vineyard Information:
Fruit was carefully selected and hand-picked from our 96-year-old Oliver’s Road Grenache vines. Located in the Seaview sub-region of McLaren Vale and situated on a gentle north facing slope, the deep, sandy red loam soils contribute to the lifted aromatics of this wine.Winemaking Notes:
The grenache fruit was gently de-stemmed and then left on skins for 3 hours at cold temperature. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tank with careful temperature control to maintain freshness. Once dry, the wine was given a ‘light polish’ filtering prior to bottling without any acid additions.Alcohol: 12.0%
