Double up 6 Pack - 3x Rose and 3x Arneis

  • 2016 La Gita Rosé
Pale salmon coloured, with a delicate savoury and complex red berry fruit aroma of strawberry and cherry spice.
    Vineyard Information:
The Nero d Avola is grown on a sandy soil site within 1 km of the McLaren Vale coast line and perched at a slight elevation of 44 metres above sea level.
    Winemaking Notes:
A wine crafted with minimal handling or intervention, it was hand harvested, gently destemmed and then pressed off to old large format French oak barrels. The juice was allowed to naturally warm and to start fermentation before fermenting to dryness. Once bone dry the wine was blended, stabilized and bottled.
    Alcohol: 12.5%
    Production: 400 six packs

    2017 La Gita Arneis
Seductive citrus blossom, spiced pear and smoked almond aromas dominate. The palate is rich and rounded in flavour with a lovely balance and line, finishing with vibrant freshness.
    Vineyard Information:
The grapes were grown at the Peters Creek Road Vineyard in Kangarilla. This vineyard sits at an altitude of 330 meters above sea level which ensures warm days but more importantly cool nights. The cool evenings are ideal for growing Arneis as this slows sugar ripening and helps retain natural flavours and acidity.
    Winemaking Notes:
Hand harvested at full flavour ripeness and then gently whole-bunch pressed straight to large seasoned-oak barrels. The wine on full press-solids was allowed to naturally ferment to sugar dryness. Post fermentation the wine was left on ferment yeast lees for four months prior to being naturally clarified and bottled.
    Alcohol: 13.5%
    Production: 500 six packs
