Sourced from one of Australia’s oldest plantings of Nero d’Avola, La Gita Nero (as we call it) is all about juiciness and brightness. Spiced cherry and raspberry fruits mingle with hints of anise and dried herbs maintaining a savoury edge. Sinewy tannins provide contrasting texture to a fleshy palate. Somewhat moor-ish and certainly capable of handling a light chill.
