Youthful crimson - ruby in colour. Dark berry fruits with red currant, briar and blackberry bush, bay leaf and subtle menthol. The palate has flesh to its texture yet retains tension and focus. Spicy, Cedary oak and fine sinewy tannin provide balance and carry to the finish. Certainly a wine that will reward cellaring and decanting for at least 2 hours is recommended.
